SkipTheTip does not collect any personal information or data from your app usage. All information remains on your device:

Tipping decisions are stored locally on your device only
Location data is processed locally and never transmitted or stored
Email addresses only if you voluntarily contact us for support

How the App Functions

Since we don't collect data, SkipTheTip operates entirely on your device to:

Provide tipping guidance based on service type and location context (processed locally)
Store your tipping decisions and savings statistics locally on your device
Respond to support inquiries only when you voluntarily contact us

Data Storage and Security

Your tipping data and savings information are stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage mechanisms. We do not transmit, store, or backup your personal tipping decisions on external servers.

Location data is used in real-time for guidance purposes only and is not retained, stored, or transmitted to our servers.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information or tipping data with third parties. Your financial decisions and savings information remain private to you.

Location Services

SkipTheTip may request location access to provide contextually relevant tipping guidance. Location data is:

Used only when you actively request guidance
Processed locally on your device
Never stored, transmitted, or retained
Can be disabled in iOS Settings while maintaining core app functionality

Data Export

You can export your tipping decision data as a CSV file for personal use. This exported data remains under your control and is not transmitted to us.

Children's Privacy

SkipTheTip is rated for ages 4+ in the App Store. Since we do not collect any personal information from any users, no data is collected from children.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal compliance. Significant changes will be communicated through app updates.
